TrueTrace ("we", "our", or "the app") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the TrueTrace application.

1. Overview

TrueTrace is a trading review and analysis tool designed for U.S. stock day traders. The app allows users to manually record trades, track performance, and optionally use AI-based analysis to improve trading strategies.

TrueTrace does not require user registration.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 User-Provided Trading Data

When you use TrueTrace, you may choose to manually enter trading-related information, such as:

• Trade date and time
• Stock symbol
• Entry and exit prices
• Position size
• Profit or loss
• Personal notes related to the trade

This information is entered voluntarily and is used solely for trade tracking and analysis purposes.

2.2 AI Analysis Data Upload

If you enable the AI analysis feature, the trading records you have entered may be securely transmitted to our servers for processing and analysis.

• The uploaded data is limited to trade records only
• No personal identity information is attached to the data
• The data is used exclusively to generate analytical insights

2.3 Advertising and Analytics Data

TrueTrace integrates third-party analytics and advertising services, including Meta (Facebook) SDK, to measure app performance and improve advertising effectiveness.

These services may collect device-related information such as:

• Device identifiers (such as the Identifier for Advertisers - IDFA)
• App interaction events
• Approximate location derived from IP address

We do not share user-entered trading records with advertising partners.

3. App Tracking Transparency (iOS)

On iOS devices, TrueTrace implements Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework. We request your permission before tracking your activity across other companies' apps and websites.

If you grant permission, advertising identifiers such as IDFA may be used for personalized advertising and measurement purposes.

If you decline tracking, personalized advertising will be disabled and core app functionality will not be affected.

4. Information We Do NOT Collect

TrueTrace does not collect or store:

• Names, email addresses, or phone numbers
• Account credentials or login information
• Payment or brokerage account credentials
• Contacts, photos, or microphone data

5. Network Usage

TrueTrace uses network access only to:

• Transmit user-requested trading data for AI analysis
• Deliver AI-generated insights back to the app
• Support analytics and advertising measurement

No undisclosed background tracking beyond the services described above is performed.

6. Data Storage and Security

Trading data used for AI analysis may be stored securely on our servers. Reasonable technical and organizational safeguards are implemented to protect data from unauthorized access.

We do not sell or rent user data.

7. Third-Party Services

TrueTrace may use trusted third-party providers for AI processing, analytics, and advertising. These providers process data in accordance with their own privacy policies and applicable laws.

8. User Control

• You may stop using the app at any time
• You may delete your trading records within the app
• You may decline tracking permission on iOS devices

9. Children’s Privacy

TrueTrace is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be reflected in the revised version available within the app or on the App Store listing.
